Drew this one in a new sketchbook (which I don’t like very much) over multiple café sessions.
Steering Spontaneity
Another doodle, this time a traditional pen & ink one. I tried “steering” the spontaneous phase of the doodling process by thinking “mechanical” thoughts. I completed this one in multiple sessions, in various cafés and pasticcerias.
Christmas Card 2018
Taking a break from the abstract doodling, I decided to draw a custom vintage-style Christmas postcard for my friends and family. Drawn in ProCreate on the iPad Pro. In case you were wondering, my surname (Gallo) means rooster in Italian.
ProCreate Doodle
As a long-time Tablet PC user, I switched sides and bought an iPad Pro. This is the first thing I drew on it, and I think it came out pretty well. If you agree with me, here’s the relevant shop section. There’s also a time-lapse video.
My First Elaborate Doodle
Drawn in a sketchbook, after watching a couple of videos by Peter Draws. I’ve done some pen & ink style drawings before, but this was my first semi-spontaneous elaborate doodle.
